Every home should have a butterfly chair. What’s that, you might ask? Butterfly chairs typically consist of a folding metal frame with a large cloth stretched over the frame in a butterfly-like shape.

When you have a butterfly chair, we guarantee it will be the first thing you’ll head to after a long day; it’s the perfect little nest to fall back into to rest, read, talk or watch television. And don’t forget, it can also be folded up so you can take it with you when you head to the beach for the summer. Or, if you prefer, you can keep it stored and bring it out whenever you need additional seating (though we suspect that once it’s out, it will stay out).

Our favorite butterfly chairs and covers right now are from Urban Outfitters; they are super comfortable and come in a cool range of prints to suit every home décor, including maroon flowers (pictured), a blue and white geometric print, and a black and green color sensation.

Part of an exhibit in Milan Design Week, the Stack system boasts a hodgepodge of vintage filing cabinets, lockers, and cubbies encompassing the indifferent metal and almost-pretty colors reminiscent of days gone be. Even kids that have been stuffed in lockers will appreciate this one.
